How It All Started
As I mentioned in "About Us," when my granddaughters moved out of state, I wanted to create a memorable way for them to experience the holidays. In 2019, I started two special traditions.
First, every week of December, I would send them a themed holiday gift box stuffed to the top with fun items related to the theme, like "Let It Snow" or "Santa Is Coming to Town." Each box, white with red snowflakes on the outside, was decorated on the inside to match the theme and packed with themed goodies. I wrote a brief poem to align with the theme, and a picture of Grandma and Grandpa was on top of the contents. I can't tell you how excited they get just seeing a white box with red snowflakes delivered!
Second, I introduced character gift wraps. Later posts will show you how my character gift wraps evolved each year. As you can see from the photos, my initial attempts had a homemade look. I often had to shop at multiple stores to gather all the necessary materials. I really wanted a kit that included all the pieces needed to decorate a box in a character style, making it look more polished and consistent. It also served as a base for embellishing the look or creating a holiday theme for the character gift wraps. When I couldn't find such a kit, I designed them through Bundlz of Joy.
We started with three designs and are excited to deliver more. Our character wraps are designed to make gift-giving even more magical and memorable, ensuring that each gift is as unique as the moment it's given.
